Accountant

Shyft provides innovative web-based and mobile technology solution that modernizes the business of moving, dramatically improving accuracy, convenience, and quality control. Founded in California, Shyft opened its office in Belgrade in May 2016.

We are currently seeking 1 experienced and highly motivated Accountant with the following skills and knowledge:

Qualifications:

  • 3-4 years of proven working experience in accounting
  • B.S. Degree in finance, accounting or related studies
  • Proficiency in Quickbooks accounting program
  • Fluency in English
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Active driver B License

Responsibilities:  

  • Accounts Payable, includes processing invoices, following up with vendors and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Accounts Receivable, including processing payments, producing statement of accounts, collections on overdue accounts and account reconciliation when required
  • Banking, processing bank deposits. All associated finance entries
  • Processing Employee expense reports, verifying expenses are within the company guidelines, correcting errors and entering into the finance system
  • Company credit card reconciliations and communication for obtaining supporting documentation
  • Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annually reports and financial statements in accordance with the regulations and internal and external requirements
  • Participation in internal and external audit
  • Others activities in accordance with business needs
  • Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential
  • Certified accountant would be considered as an advantage
  • Knowledge on US tax systems will be considered as an advantage
  • Participate in special projects as required
